The Madeira Theme Park was present at the biggest national tourist fair promoting and establishing contacts for the “Sociedade de Desenvolvimento de Norte da Madeira”, under the tutelage of the Vice Presidency of the Regional Government.
Since the official opening of the Lisbon Tourism Fair on the 13th of January, the Madeira Theme Park has been represented in one of the modules dedicated to Trade in the Madeira Islands pavilion, as in previous years. With the objective of reinforcing its visibility amongst this specific public, we took the opportunity to introduce the Park’s new attractions that surged at the end of last year to the travel agents and tour operators.
Our presence at this event was fundamental to further unite us with the agents that are responsible for the tourist activity in the Madeira Theme Park, in Santana.
Due to the fact that 80% of Madeira Theme Park visitors are tourists, the presence of the Park at this event contributes to reinforcing commercial links with regional travel agents with the purpose of improving the programs sold to Santana, by simultaneously including an excursion to the Madeira Theme Park. It was noted that many tour operators already include an excursion to the Madeira Theme Park in their professional brochures “Destination Madeira”. They also utilize photos of the Madeira Theme Park to promote Madeira as a tourist destination.
This being an important tourist attraction in Santana clearly destined for families, the Madeira Theme Park launched a campaign on the 16th and 17th (Saturday and Sunday), to reinforce the visibility and promote the Park belonging to the “Sociedade de Desenvolvimento de Norte da Madeira”, under the tutelage of the Vice Presidency of the Regional Government amongst the general public. Over the weekend the BTL’10 opened its doors to the public, making it an excellent opportunity to promote the Madeira Theme Park, located in Santana.
